Maine 5

We hang around the trailer today while B*U*D installs all of our new software. Juicey and I play beauty shop. Al's band picks up their equipment to set up at the Panda for tomorrow nights gig.

We decide the trip to Belchertown and back in one day is pushing it. Daniel already has a house full of company, my flight out is the next day and the exhausting heat has returned with a vengeance. Instead, we decide to drive up the Kagamangus Highway where the temperature is at least 10 degrees cooler. We stop at "Kokopelli", a fine Indian jewelry store on the way up and buy liquid silver friendship bracelets made by the Maine Penabscot tribe. Juicey's stone is teal, mine is purple. Antique shops, souvenir shops and ski resorts dot the landscape...charming country inns and campgrounds with picturesque lake-front cabins. We stop up the mountain for a hike up Sabbaday Falls. These pictures speak much louder than words. Juicey made two gorgeous lake applets from two photos that B*U*D and I took there. View the lake applets by clicking on the links below.
